  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 85g boiled pork, sliced into small pieces
  • 5 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 ginger thumbs, sliced into strips
  • 475ml coconut milk
  • 1 piece Knorr Pork cube
  • 600g squash, cubed
  • 18 string beans, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • Fish sauce to taste

Step by Step Instructions to Prepare Ginataang Kalabasa

  1. Heat the oil and fry the boiled pork in a pan until brown and crispy.
  2. Sauté the garlic, onion, and ginger.
  3. Add the coconut milk into the pan and stir with a spatula. Cover the pan and bring the liquid to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium and continue boiling for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the Knorr Pork Cube and cubed squash. Continue cooking for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the string beans. Cook for 5 to 8 minutes.
  6. Season with ground black pepper and fish sauce to taste.
  7. Serve with warm rice.
