foodpanda Postpaid Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: March 1, 2026

These Postpaid Terms and Conditions (“Postpaid Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Postpaid payment deferral service (“Postpaid”) made available on the foodpanda platform and mobile application (the “Platform”) operated by Delivery Hero Philippines, Inc., with the payments being processed by DH Philippines Blue Services, Inc. (collectively “foodpanda”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

Postpaid allows eligible users to defer payment for eligible orders placed on the Platform, subject to these Postpaid Terms.

By selecting Postpaid as a payment method, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Postpaid Terms and consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with the foodpanda Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Postpaid Terms, you are advised not to use Postpaid.

These Postpaid Terms are supplemental to the foodpanda Terms of Use and other applicable terms governing your use of the Platform and services, which are incorporated by reference herein.

1. What is Postpaid?

  • 1.1 Postpaid is a payment option that enables eligible users to place orders on the Platform and pay for such orders at a later date, as displayed at checkout, similar to a postpaid plan.
  • 1.2 foodpanda does not offer installment plans under Postpaid.
  • 1.3 foodpanda does not impose any late payment fees or any additional fees.
  • 1.4 foodpanda does not deposit any amount or provide any upfront credit to the customers.
  • 1.5 foodpanda is not extending the Postpaid to any other online or physical stores. It is solely for the purpose of providing flexibility to the customers and is used exclusively on the Platform.

2. Eligibility and Availability

  • 2.1 Postpaid is available only to users who meet foodpanda’s eligibility criteria, as determined at foodpanda’s sole discretion.
  • 2.2 foodpanda reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
    • 2.2.1 offer the service to a limited number of users on the Platform;
    • 2.2.2 adjust eligibility criteria; and
    • 2.2.3 suspend or withdraw access to Postpaid at any time.

3. Your Obligations

  • 3.1 You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when enrolling in and using Postpaid.
  • 3.2 You agree to use Postpaid responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws and these Postpaid Terms.
  • 3.3 Your Postpaid account and benefits are personal to you and may not be sold, transferred, or assigned.

4. Activation and Use

  • 4.1 Eligible users may be assigned a Service Cap, representing the maximum outstanding amount that may be scheduled for later settlement at any given time. foodpanda may adjust this limit at any time without prior notice.
  • 4.2 Only certain orders and services on the Platform may be payable using Postpaid (“Postpaid Orders”). foodpanda has the right to accept or decline any transactions under Postpaid in its sole discretion, especially where it reasonably believes that the transaction may be fraudulent, illegal, or involves any criminal activity or where foodpanda reasonably believes you to be in breach of these Postpaid Terms. foodpanda is not liable for any refusal to honor such a transaction.
  • 4.3 Each Postpaid Order reduces your available Service Cap by the amount of the order until settlement or adjustment.

5. Payments and Settlement

  • 5.1 By selecting Postpaid, you agree that the total amount of your Postpaid orders will be collected via the payment method designated by you and saved to your foodpanda account (the “Payment Method”) on the due date displayed at checkout. The applicable due date will be displayed at checkout and in your in-app Postpaid Usage Summary, and you are responsible for ensuring that sufficient funds are available on or before that date. You also have the option to settle any outstanding Postpaid Orders before the due date by using other online payment methods available on the Platform.
  • 5.2 You must maintain at least one valid Payment Method on your account in order to use Postpaid. Once a Payment Method is selected for a Postpaid transaction, it may not be removed until all outstanding Postpaid Orders have been paid. You may update or replace your Payment Method in the Postpaid section of the Platform, subject to foodpanda’s right to verify the validity of the new Payment Method and to discontinue acceptance of any payment method at any time, as permitted by law.
  • 5.3 Unless you repay earlier before the due date, foodpanda will automatically attempt to collect the outstanding Postpaid amount by charging the Payment Method on the due date. You authorize foodpanda to debit the Payment Method saved to your account for all amounts due under Postpaid.
  • 5.4 It is your responsibility to review your Postpaid Usage Summary promptly and to notify foodpanda of any discrepancies without undue delay.

6. Overdue Payments and Auto-Settlement

  • 6.1 If payment is not successfully completed on the due date, the amount will be considered overdue.
  • 6.2 In the event of an overdue payment, you agree that foodpanda may automatically retry settlement using the Payment Method at regular intervals determined by foodpanda, without further notice.
  • 6.3 While there is an overdue payment, foodpanda may, at its discretion:
    • 6.3.1 suspend or restrict your access to Postpaid;
    • 6.3.2 limit your Account functionality; or
    • 6.3.3 take other reasonable steps to recover outstanding amounts.
  • 6.4 foodpanda is not responsible for any fees charged by your payment provider in connection with settlement attempts.

7. Refunds for Postpaid Orders

Refunds for Postpaid Orders will be processed depending on whether settlement has occurred at the time the refund is initiated.

  • 7.1 Refund before settlement
    If a refund is initiated before the Postpaid amount has been repaid, the refunded amount will be reverted to your Postpaid limit, and no funds will be paid out to you. Once processed, your available Postpaid limit will be adjusted accordingly.
  • 7.2 Refund after settlement
    If a refund is initiated after the Postpaid amount has been repaid, the refund will be issued to the settlement source, or where applicable, to your foodpanda Account, in accordance with your account settings and local rules. foodpanda reserves the right to determine the refund method where required by law or operational constraints.
  • 7.3 Processing time
    Refund processing times may vary depending on banks, payment providers, or wallet services. foodpanda does not control third-party processing timelines.

8. Termination

  • 8.1 foodpanda may suspend or terminate your access to Postpaid at any time without notice, for reasons including, but not limited to, suspected fraud, default, or breach of these Postpaid Terms.
  • 8.2 If you wish to close your foodpanda Account, we will cancel any pending Postpaid Orders unless otherwise prohibited by law. Your Account will not be closed until the payment of all outstanding amounts has been made, but we may limit your ability to make additional transactions using your Account.
  • 8.3 Termination or closure of the foodpanda Account does not release you from any outstanding payment obligations incurred prior to termination.

9. Liability and Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • 9.1 Postpaid is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis; and
  • 9.2 foodpanda shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of Postpaid.
  • 9.3 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless foodpanda and its affiliates against claims arising from your breach of these Postpaid Terms.

10. Communications

foodpanda may communicate with you regarding Postpaid through in-app notifications, email, and SMS. Such communications may include payment reminders, overdue notifications, settlement confirmations, and service-related messages. By using Postpaid, you consent to receiving communications through these channels and are responsible for keeping your contact details accurate and up to date.

11. Data Protection

foodpanda processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. Certain data may be used to assess eligibility, manage settlements, and administer Postpaid.

12. Amendments

foodpanda may amend these Postpaid Terms at any time in its discretion. The amended Terms will be effective upon posting on the Platform or delivery through other channels. It is your responsibility to check the Terms regularly. If you do not agree with the amended Terms, whether in whole or in part, you must stop using the Postpaid immediately. Your continued use of Postpaid after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Postpaid Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines and you agree to submit all disputes and claims arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate court in Taguig City, Philippines, to the exclusion of all other courts.

14. Contact Us

If you dispute any Postpaid charges, you must contact foodpanda support promptly and provide relevant details, and foodpanda will investigate in good faith. foodpanda’s determination regarding disputed charges shall be final, subject to applicable law.
