A crumbly butter-rich confection, what’s interesting about polvoron is you can easily customise it with a variety of flavours! Make this traditional polvoron recipe at home with only four ingredients right out of your kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 240g of flour
  • 250g of powdered milk
  • 200g of sugar
  • 230g of butter

  • 1 skillet
  • 1 bowl
  • 1 baking dish
  • 1 polvoron mould
  • 1 baking sheet
  • 40 Japanese paper wrappers

Polvoron Recipe

Directions

  • In a skillet over medium heat, add flour and toast until lightly brown and fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Combine flour, milk, and sugar in a bowl.
  • Add butter and mix until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture onto a baking dish and use a polvoron mould to shape it into compact cookies.
  • Arrange all the cookies in a single layer on a baking sheet and freeze until firm.
  • Wrap individually with Japanese paper wrappers. Serve immediately!
