Ingredients
15ml of canola oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
230g of ground pork
1 tomato, chopped
60ml of water
15ml of oyster sauce
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
4 pechays, ends removed and cut into thirds

Directions
Heat the oil in a large work over medium heat, add the chopped onions and minced garlic, and cook until softened.
Add the ground pork, break it apart with a spatula, and cook until lightly browned.
Add the tomatoes, mash them with the spatula and cook until softened.
Add the water, bring it to a boil, and simmer it over low heat with the lid on until everything’s thoroughly cooked.
Add the oyster sauce, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
Lastly, add the pechays, cook, and stir regularly for 2 to 4 minutes.
Storing Leftovers and How to Customise to Your Preference
If you have leftovers, make sure it’s completely cooled before storing them in an airtight container. You can keep it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat it, put it in the microwave for 1 to 2 minutes or reheat it in a frying pan over medium heat. This pechay recipe is easily customisable!
