1 onion
5 Thai chillies
1l of coconut milk
2 cloves of garlic, minced
10 pieces of dried fish
140g of dried taro leaves
Salt to taste

Directions
Peel and chop your onion, then cut each chilli into five pieces. Set aside.
Next, place the coconut milk, onion, garlic, and dried fish into the large pot. Bring it to a boil over medium heat.
Add the dried taro leaves once it starts to boil.
Cover the pot and let it boil for around 10 minutes. Do not stir.
Add the chillies into the pot, and season with salt to taste.
Continue to let it boil until the coconut milk is almost entirely reduced.
Alternatives for Your Laing
Laing is essentially dried taro leaves cooked in coconut milk, and this Laing recipe asks for dried fish. However, you’re welcome to substitute the dried fish with pork.
