Ingredients

For Coffee Jelly

  • 470ml of hot water
  • 5.5g of instant coffee powder
  • 25g of sugar
  • 9.3g of unflavoured gelatine powder

  • 120ml of all-purpose cream
  • 60ml of condensed milk
  • 2g of instant coffee powder

  • 1 whisk
  • 1 rectangular mould

Directions

Coffee Jelly

  • Mix the hot water, instant coffee powder, and sugar in a medium bowl. Then, add the gelatine powder and whisk until dissolved. Whisk well.
  • Pour the mixture into your rectangular mould, then refrigerate for four hours or overnight.
  • Once it sets, unmould the coffee jelly and cut it into 1/2-inch cubes. Set aside.

Assembly

  • Mix the all-purpose cream, condensed milk, and instant coffee powder in another bowl.
  • Then, add the cut coffee jelly and gently mix.
  • Refrigerate and serve cold.

Different Ways to Make and Enjoy Coffee Jelly

If you’re not a fan of instant coffee and have a coffee machine at home, you’re welcome to use two double shots of espresso. However, remember to reduce your water amount to 350ml since two espresso shots are 120ml. You can also enjoy your coffee jelly in different ways. Instead of all-purpose cream and condensed milk, feel free to add whipped cream, ice cream, or flavoured syrup instead. If these options sound too diet-unfriendly, you can just add them to your iced coffee or lattes.
