Ingredients

  • 350g of ribeye steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • ½ tsp of salt
  • ½ tsp of pepper
  • 1 tbsp of soy sauce
  • ½ tbsp of oyster sauce
  • ½ tbsp of brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp of oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp of butter

Beef Salpicao Recipe

Directions

  • Season the ribeye steak cubes with salt and pepper thoroughly. Set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and brown sugar. Set aside.
  • In a pan over medium heat, add oil.
  • Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Set aside for garnish.
  • Increase to medium-high heat and add the steak cubes, searing it on each side for 1 minute.
  • Pour in the sauce and bring it to a brief boil for approximately 10 seconds.
  • Stir to mix the beef and the sauce until well incorporated.
  • Add in the butter and cook until melted.
  • Remove from the heat and ladle into a bowl. Garnish with fried garlic and serve!
